Women’s Day celebrated in style at Bundu Lodge

An extremely well fashion function was held at Bundu Lodge for Womens Day

A girl should be two things, classy and fabulous.

These were the words of Coco Chanel, that were reiterated at a function that Chata Romano, an image-consulting business with the Little Marketing Company held to celebrate Women’s Day at Bundu Country Lodge on Friday.

The extremely well-attended event started off with the owner of The Little Marketing Company, Laurette Batstone speaking about what it meant to be a woman. She said growing up, most girls put on their mother’s make-up and played dress up.

“This always makes you feel special and happy to be a woman.”

She dedicated the day to the two special women in her life, her mother and Jenna Clifford, who had provided each female with a silver butterfly teaspoon.

Chata Romano image consultant Loanda Blewett then presented a slide show on those who had undergone makeovers which had had stunning end results.

Blewett said subtle changes could make a huge difference in a person’s appearance.

She then went through how to dress from head to toe, discussing hair to make-up and explained how their colour charts worked with regard to one’s complexion.

Blewett ended the event with matching clothing for different outfits and explained the latest trends for summer.

Purple Ribbon Boutique owner Anika Odendaal also had her beautiful array of fashionable clothes and accessories on display.
