Koos Kombuis and Mike Average rock out at The Pub Nelspruit

Long-time fans of "Oom Koos" were treated to his classics such as "Liza se Klavier", "Onder in my Whiskeyglas", "Lalie", "Johnny is nie Dood nie" (which recently inspired a movie) and "Almal wil 'n Huisie by die See hê".

Locals were in for a rare treat last when none other than Koos Kombuis and Mike Average performed live recently at The Pub.

Local band, Mike Average then kept the evening’s entertainment going with a number of its foot-stomping songs. Stefan Retief, Langpiet Voges and Tinus Opperman started the band in Mbombela 10 years ago and have gained a strong following.

According to Ettienne Coetzee, owner of The Pub, members of the Acoustics and Backstage will be next to play at the establishment.
