BREAKING NEWS: Two pedestrians killed in hit and run

KOMATIPOORT – According to the spokesman of the Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Joseph Mabuza, the accident occured on the D2945 road in the Madadeni area at approximately 20:00 on Christmas Day.

The incident, involving a Volkswagen Polo, happened when a number of pedestrians were crossing the road at a busy area next to a tavern. They were knocked down. Three people sustained serious injuries and were taken to Tonga Hospital. Two others were killed on the scene.
