Bagels made easy in an air fryer

These soft, delicious air fryer bagels are made using only two ingredients or six - depending on how you like your bagels.

Bagels are a beloved breakfast staple. Originating in Poland in the 17th century, bagels have a rich and storied history. Initially known as “bajgiel,” these ring-shaped bread rolls were popularised by Jewish communities in Eastern Europe.

Today, bagels are enjoyed worldwide and come in a variety of flavours and toppings, but their enduring appeal as a versatile and delicious bread product remains unchanged.

Making bagels in the air fryer offers several advantages over traditional methods. First, it’s faster – no need to wait for the dough to rise multiple times. Second, air frying produces a crispy exterior while maintaining a soft and chewy interior reminiscent of your favourite bakery-fresh bagels.
