The dead body of a 33-year-old man has been found with the intestines cut out in Gamalakhe, KwaZulu-Natal.

Police spokesperson Captain Gerald Mfeka said Sizwe Mqadi’s body was found at the KFC tavern in Gamalakhe on Wednesday after he had gone to visit his mother, South Coast Herald reported.

Mfeka added Mqadi was attacked by a group of men.

“He was badly stabbed, and his intestines were cut out,” said Mfeka.

The motive for the killing is unknown.
