Racing proper will kick off at 4pm. 

The Rock Raceway in Brakpan will host the semifinal round of its 2018 Drifting championship on Saturday, with some 30 of the country’s top rubber shredders in action.

Competing in separate gold cup and silver cup categories, the drivers will tackle a tight and twisty circuit, laid out on the Rock venue’s infield and oval track.

The circuit gates will open at 10am, with practice sessions for all classes due to be held during the morning and early afternoon.

Racing proper will kick off at 4pm.

  • Admission will cost R80 per adult and R30 for children between the ages of six and 12.
  • Food and drink will be on sale or you may bring your own, parking is plentiful, patrolled and free.
