The federation’s president, Aleck Skhosana, said they expected numerous changes, however, ahead of the August 10 qualifying deadline set by the global governing body. A number of athletes in the squad had not yet qualified, while there would still be opportunities for omitted athletes to book their places at the biennial showpiece.
