Don’t wait – the Chinese is here

Chinese vehicle manufacturers have stepped up to present the world with value-adding products brimming with technology and superb design features.

Another leading Chinese manufacturer, the Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation (BAIC), has reintroduced itself into the South African vehicle market.

Their product is the stylish and certainly avant-garde, SUV named, Beijing X55.

“The X55 is the only product in its class to be equipped with China’s double Top 10 engines, and dozens of features with leading technological advantages which allow the X55 to provide South African consumers with an advanced sense of technology and a superior driving experience,” said Mr HU, the vice president of sales and marketing at BAIC South Africa. This new-generation SUV opens up the platform and exploration of BAIC South Africa in the field of comprehensive intelligent networked mobility,” he said.

The all-new Beijing X55 presents innovative technology and sophisticated design elements inside and out.

Basil Costa, the senior manager of BAIC South Africa said, “The futuristic design is truly visible in every aspect of the vehicle. When driving in the rain, the windscreen retains fewer raindrops and the windows on both sides of the driver and passenger sides are cleaner, enhancing driving safety. The Beijing X55 has ultra-low wind resistance, with a drag coefficient of 0.32”.
