Gold Reef Rose Society and Ludwig’s Roses Egoli plant roses at Johannesburg Botanical Gardens
The Lets Make it Bloom Again project saw that more terraces at the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens have roses planted.
With every rose planting day organised by the collaborative efforts of the Gold Reef Rose Society and Ludwig’s Roses Egoli, the beauty of the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens is growing.

Recently, after the soil was prepped and ready, terraces five and seven of the gardens were planted with donated roses. This work is done under the Let’s Make it Bloom Again project, which sees community members donating four pre-selected roses plus a bag of planting mix.

With the inclusion of a recent plant on terrace eight, this project has seen 1 092 roses planted across these three terraces alone.
