Round Table gives to charity

The ‘Fight Against Winter Cold Operation’ held by Round Table No. 52 managed to raise R6000 worth of canned food and a whopping 150 blankets. All goods raised / collected were split up and given to three organisations, namely the River of Life Church, Baptist Church and Hervormde Kerk (CMD). These churches, in turn, will help those less fortunate in the community. Round Table No. 52 would like to say a special thank you to the Rotary Club, Canvas & Tent and the general public for their wonderful support. Thanks also to the Round Table members themselves and the 41’ers for their help. The handover of the goodies took place on Friday, September 6.
