As a parent it’s your responsibility to ensure that your child is a happy healthy child with the correct values and morals in life.

I have compiled a top 10 list to assist you in being great with your kids.

1. imagination: It is very important to encourage a great imagination, it gives your child the tools to think creatively, make friends and even handle stress full situations.

2. Anger Management: Be very careful how you handle your emotions around your child. Remember monkey see monkey do. So if you are generally an angry person just remember that that the image you are painting for your young one and they will most probably become aggressive toward their schoolmates and thereafter toward their spouse well into their adulthood. If you find yourself being angry and aggressive, stop and rethink your methods, it will save you and your child many problems in the future.

3. Compassion: Being compassionate is very important in a child’s development. It teaches them to empathise with others. Teaching your child compassion from an early age will definitely have a wonderful impact on their lives and also it will teach them to respect others.
