A house fire was reported in Saffa Street this afternoon (Thursday).
The fire broke out in one of the upstairs rooms of a double-storey home, destroying most of the items in the room, including the bed and cupboard.
Firefighters and emergency services rushed to the scene.
The flames were extinguished and no injuries were sustained.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
