Glencoe still plagued by water woes

Another day without water for Glencoe

Residents are fuming in Glencoe as another day has gone by and they’re still without water.

Umzinyathi officials confirmed yesterday that two major  burst pipes had caused the town to be without water.

While the pipes were since fixed, the levels of water in the reservoir were too low to supply the whole town.

An official from Umzinyathi said that the drought was really proving destrutive, adding that people assume the recent rains have solved all the problems, when in fact that was far from the case.
