Imbizo held in Ladysmith to help applicants join the South African Police Service

Over 500 applicants trying to get into the SAPS attended the event

The SAPS Uthukela Deputy Cluster Commander held an Imbizo (gathering) in Ladysmith on Friday (June 8) to assist the youth who want to join the South African Police Service (SAPS).

The SAPS advertised vacancies during the latter part of May and have been issuing forms at police stations countrywide. In an effort to make the process of applying even easier, the Imbizo was held.

Over 500 applicants trying to get into the SAPS attended the event.

Brigadiers and members of the municipality attended the Imbizo to talk to the applicants and guide them in the right direction.

There was also great entertainment in the form of police officers rendering traditional song and dance.
