Round Table provides a helping hand as part of its Winter Knights initiative
To support this worthy cause, Mortimer Toyota has installed a collection box where winter blankets, tinned food, old clothing or cash donations can be deposited by anyone who wants to contribute to the initiative.
As part of its Winter Knights initiative the Ncandu 86 Round Table, in conjunction with Mortimer Toyota, began collecting donations for the needy people in Newcastle.
This project is a national Round Table initiative, which is aimed at providing blankets to the needy from all over South Africa.

On June 8, members of the Round Table Ncandu 86 met at Pick n Pay Hutten Heights to collect donations from kind-hearted residents who wanted to contribute to the project.
To date, Round Table has raised approximately R5 000 towards this project.

Tablers also joined in the weekend fun at the past weekend’s Snips Market Day, and sold cold beverages to raise more funds for this project.
According to chairperson, Karl Niebuhr, the project had already doubled the proceeds of last year’s Winter Knights fundraiser.
