Warning: Protest action on the N2, avoid this area as the road is closed
It is believed that this is a service delivery protest
Motorists travelling on the roads today (June 19), please be warned that protest action is underway on the N2.
A mob of angry protesters allegedly torched and looted trucks between Mtubatuba and Hluhluwe.
The road is blocked and police have confirmed that the demonstrators have also been stoning vehicles near Zimimpilo.
Motorists are warned to avoid this area; please use other routes.
It is believed that this is a service delivery protest.
