Warning: Brace yourself for cold weather and snow in KwaZulu-Natal

Small stock farmers are advised that the combination of cold, wet and windy weather may be fatal to stock, unless animals are taken to shelter well ahead of the onset of the hazardous weather

The SA Weather Service has warned that a strong cold front is making its way through KwaZulu-Natal.

Temperatures are expected to drop into the low teens in Ladysmith from today (July 3), with maximum temperatures expected to be very low.

Snowfall is expected over the high-ground areas of the Eastern Cape, including the mountains between Willowmore and Joubertina, the Sneeuberg, Winterberg and Southern Drakensberg. Heavy snow has fallen in Cape Town.
