HELP: Disorientated elderly woman found wandering in BHP

A resident who noticed the confused woman walking aimlessly in the area, approached her and asked if she needed assistance.

An elderly woman believed to be in her mid 60s to 70s was found wandering in Barry Hertzog Park (BHP) at around 2pm this afternoon.

A resident who noticed the confused woman walking aimlessly in the area, approached her and asked if she needed assistance.

According to the resident, the woman could not reveal her name or where she was headed.

She said she was only known as Miss Langa.

Family of the elderly woman as well as anyone who may recognise or know her are encouraged to contact the Newcastle Advertiser on 082 874 5550.

Newcastle police and medical services have been contacted to assist the elderly woman.
