Vehicle crashes through 2 streetlight poles in Steadville

Both of the poles were flattened to the ground and were lying across the roadway

A vehicle crashed through two streetlight poles on Monday night (October 5) in Steadville.

The exact cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.

It is believed that the driver was trying to avoid a pothole when he lost control of the vehicle.

One person sustained slight injuries.

Public Safety, police, emergency personnel and towing services responded to the scene.

Both poles were flattened to the ground and were lying across the roadway.

The vehicle had to be towed away from the scene.

Traffic past the scene with caution until the scene was cleared.
