Juvenile Puff Adder found at home in Ruby Gailey Drive

Winter is approaching and snakes become less active when it's cold

A juvenile Puff Adder was found at a house in Ruby Gailey Drive this last week by local snake expert Fanie Cilliers.

The homeowners spotted the snake outside their home and quickly contacted Fanie.

The snake was safely removed without any harm being done to it, and to the delight of the residents.

Speaking to Fanie, he says he is not getting very many snake calls these days.

This is due to winter approaching and snakes becoming less active during the cold weather.

However, you still need to be vigilant, as these reptiles are still around.
