13 patients are being treated following an accident which took place at about 2:45 PM along the R103 between Chieveley and Colenso.

It is unclear at the moment what the cause of the accident is, but a bakkie involved has left the road due to the impact and is laying in a ditch.

Various emergency services have responded and are currently on scene.

All the patients are in stable condition, some of which are minors.

Bruises and scratches were sustained. Patients are being taken to the Estcourt Hospital for further medical treatment.

Road users are advised to approach this area with caution.
