With September steadily approaching, many are gearing up to celebrate Spring Day.

What is Spring without blossoming flowers and blooming trees though? The start of September also marks the start of Arbor Week, a week that has fallen by the wayside among many over the years.

In South Africa, National Arbor Week is celebrated in the first week of September annually, but it’s important to remember that trees need to be celebrated and cared for, all year round.

Arbor Week encourages people to think green and to think great. As vital as it is to celebrate the week by thinking about the trees, it’s also vital to carry that mindset throughout the year.
