‘Ayoba’ win for DHS soccer girls

After a penalty shootout against Ethangeni, Cheryl Ngobese scored the winning goal to advance to the final against ML Sultan.

After a full season playing against schools in the Umzinyathi District, the Dundee High School first-team soccer girls managed to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the Ayoba League tournament. This round played out on September 13.

After a penalty shootout against Ethangeni, Cheryl Ngobese scored the winning goal to send DHS into the final against ML Sultan, and after a grueling match, DHS won by three goals to one. Congratulations to the girls on their stellar performance.
