Glencoe school hit by rape allegations

The school cannot be identified as SAPS fear this may impact on their ongoing investigations.

Glencoe residents are outraged after a minor was sexually assaulted at a local school by a cleaner who cannot be named.
The man was arrested by detectives from the Family Violence, Child Protection & Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) at the school premises last Tuesday.
Parents who spoke to the Courier expressed their concerns about the safety and security of learners at all schools.
The suspect is yet to appear in court and the docket has been sent to the Dundee Regional Court senior public prosecutor for a decision on the matter.
