“The woman was on her way home when she was approached by an unknown man who started to assault her. She tried to fight back but he managed to hit her on her head with an unknown object and she lost consciousness,” Hendricks said.

“When the victim regained consciousness, she realised he was standing in front of her half naked, and that he had undressed and raped her. She grabbed his private parts and bit him so hard that he fell on his back.”

Hendricks said that the victim managed to run away from the suspect and went for medical treatment. She added that the suspect’s identity remains unknown.

“The Randfontein Police are appealing to the public to come forward with any information, especially if they come across a man complaining about an infection or injury to his private parts.”
