Missing elderly woman found

After being reported missing from her home in Arcadia on 16 October, 70-year-old Thembela Muriel Hule was found on Friday.

“She was found at a park in Marabastad by police who were patrolling the area,” said spokesperson Sergeant Asnath Malatsi. She was taken to the Pretoria Central police station where her daughter picked her up and took her home.

“Hule has bad memory loss and for the past week, she has been trying to find her way back home. She was not harmed at all when she was found. The family is very happy to have her back. We would like to thank Rekord for helping us to find this woman,” Malatsi said.
