Update: Youngsters terrorise community – accused sets record straight
Youngsters accused of harassing adult residents at the Tshwane Houses deny allegations against them.

After allegations made against youngsters in Booysens, the accused have come forward to set the record straight.
According to Angie Bezuidenhout, her children are the victims in the accusations of youngsters harassing residents at the Tshwane metro houses in Booysens.
“My children are the ones being threatened by the residents. We have had many problems with the residents.”
Shaun Bezuidenhout said that he will always protect his brothers and challenge the people threatening them because they are just children.
“My brothers always run to me when the people start causing trouble. It is ridiculous that they are making such allegations against them.”
Angie stated that she is afraid to send her children to the shop because of the victimisation that is happening.
“Every day at work I always worry about my two sons and what could be happening to them.”
Rekord recently reported on a group of youngsters allegedly harassing older residents, but it seems that some of the residents are allegedly the ones causing trouble with the youngsters.

According to a resident, who wished to remain anonymous, the complaining residents are the ones causing trouble.
“Those people are the trouble makers. They have court orders against almost everyone here.”
Angie said that her children are now marked as bad seeds and they are also mocked at school because people know of the situation at the houses.
“My children are always at school and if they are not at school I know about it. It is very wrong that we have to suffer because of this quarrelling?”
The situation has got out of hand that Angie now went to court to get a restraining order against the adults.
Raymond Groenewald, one of the complainants, said that their family is not the only one complaining about the youngsters.
“I rest my case, police can confirm our regular complaints.”
Angie and his boys said that they would like to be left alone and for all the allegations to stop as it is affecting them negatively.
