Woman seriously injured in crash

A woman was seriously injured when a vehicle and a truck collided.

A woman was seriously injured in a crash in Pretoria West on Tuesday morning.

Best care ambulance services spokesperson Xander Loubser said a BMW and a truck collided in Rebecca Street around 05:00.

“Paramedics arrived at the scene to find a 40-year-old woman in a serious condition. The patient was transported to Bougainville hospital for treatment that she required,” he said.

In another accident on Tuesday, a motorcyclist was injured in central Pretoria when he collided with a car on the corner of Johannes Ramokhoase (Proes) and Potgieter streets, paramedics said.

“The motorcyclist was seriously injured and had to be transported to hospital. The driver of the vehicle was not injured,” Loubser said.
