Frustrated residents target council seating

Angry East Lynne residents have warned they would take their protest to the city council’s next meeting in the City Centre should their demand for community meetings not be met.

Furious East Lynne residents over service delivery want to protest during the next council meeting at Sammy Marks Square in the city centre. One of the protest leaders, Nithini Mora revealed this during a violent protest on Stormvoël Road near N1 on-ramp on Tuesday. The demonstration caused traffic to back-up and forced motorists to use alternative routes.
