Municipal issues addressed in the west
"I will continue to strive towards better delivery of services as your councillor.”
Backlogged municipal issues in the west of Pretoria are finally being addressed.
This comes after the metro recently decided to start focus weeks focusing on problems in each ward.
DA Ward 3 councillor Carlo de Bruyn said municipal workers started working in his ward last Wednesday.
“During these focus weeks, municipal workers are deployed everywhere to complete outstanding work,” said De Bruyn.

He said municipal issues such as potholes, broken street lights and uncut grass were addressed.
“Grass cutting remains a serious challenge for the residents of ward 3,” said De Bruyn.
“As councillor I am in continuous engagement with the necessary departments to ensure services are delivered.”
De Bruyn said while there was still a way to go, he was grateful that the people’s complaints had been heard.

De Bruyn said residents should feel free to contact him should they have any service delivery issues not resolved by the municipality.
