NEWSFLASH: Pedestrian dies after Garsfontein motorbike accident
It was believed that the pedestrian was trying to cross the road.
A pedestrian has died following a motorbike accident on Friday afternoon in Garsfontein.
The accident happened at around 16:30, according to The Punisher Protection Services spokesperson Casper Visser.
“A medical response unit was dispatched to a motorcycle accident on Garsfontein Road next to the Grootfontein county estate.”

Visser said it was believed that the pedestrian was trying to cross the road when he was hit by the motorcycle.
“The rider of the motorcycle sustained minor injuries,” he said.
“The pedestrian was in a critical condition and was rushed to Pretoria East hospital to be stabilised, but unfortunately died shortly after arriving at the hospital.”
