Garsfontein police station closed after staffer tests positive for Covid-19

“The telephone lines at Garsfontein police station Community Service Centre will not be accessible for the duration of the closure.”

The Garsfontein police station has been temporarily closed for decontamination after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday.

“The community is advised to call 10111 for all emergencies and complaints which needs to be attended to by Garsfontein police station,” said police spokesperson Brigadier Mathapelo Peter.

“The telephone lines at Garsfontein police station community service centre will not be accessible for the duration of the closure.”

She said members of the community would be informed when the main station would be operational again.

“The SAPS management apologises for any inconveniences that may arise from this.”
