Vintage vehicles take centre stage at Pretoria Old Motor Club

People from all around the city came to showcase their 20-year-old and older vehicles.

The Pretoria Old Motor Club recently hosted its monthly exhibition, showcasing a stunning array of vintage vehicles.

The event at the club’s premises attracted car enthusiasts from across the city.

According to event organiser Frik Kraamwinkel, the purpose was to provide a platform for owners to display their classic cars.

Kraamwinkel explained that vehicles older than 20 years entered free of charge, while newer models require payment at the gate.

His passion for cars sparked the formation of the Pretoria Old Motor Club.

According to Kraamwinkel, the oldest vehicle showcased was a 1905 Buick.

The exhibition also served as a fundraiser for Sunnete School.

Kraamwinkel said proceeds from the gate sales directly benefited the institution.

“Most of the money paid at the gate goes to the school,” Kraamwinkel emphasised.
