Mobile sponsorship for Grace and Hope

It was a joyous and happy day for Grace and Hope School on Monday morning when Peugeot and its partner Citroen dealerships handed over two Citroen mini buses and a Toyota Yaris to the school. Grace and Hope is a school in Seshego that caters for children with intellectual disabilities. The school bought the two Citroen mini buses, while Citroen donated the Toyota Yaris to the school.

The principal Mabore Ngoatje said: “We are really happy and grateful to Citroen and Peugeot for the generous donation that they made to our school.

“We would also like to thank Capricorn FM, because it is their cash donation of R20 000 that boosted us to be able to buy the two mini buses for the school. Citroen gave us a huge discount for the buses and still managed to donate a beautiful car. It is as if Peugeot and Citroen knew the problems we were having at the school regarding transportation. Staff members had to use their own vehicles to run errands for the school, to attend meetings, going around asking for sponsorships or donations.

“The car will really assist us a lot with the school administration and transporting learners to hospitals if there is a need. And once again thank you to Citroen for the discounts given on the two mini buses because we couldn’t have been able to afford them”.

Naume Maleka, Peugeot sales executive said: “We are happy to be donating, because we could see that they were struggling with transportation. The car can help transport the children and staff members of the school and to run school errands”.
