Mdlalose ready to lead PCOB again

Simphiwe Mdlalose, was re-elected as the president at the Polokwane Chamber of Business (PCOB) annual general meeting.

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Chamber of Business (PCOB) held its annual general meeting at the Pietersburg Club recently, where a new committee was elected.

Simphiwe Mdlalose, was re-elected as the president.

Mdlalose thanked PCOB members who contributed in reaching various milestones, especially the chamber’s annual golf day at the Polokwane Golf Club, which turned out to be a very successful event.

He called on members to work more closely together and to be even more active to help to contribute in the growth, especially membership tally, of the chamber.

PCOB’s financial figures for 2014/15 were not ready at the time of the meeting, and committee member, Percy Mongalo, said this was because it was unusual for the meeting to be held at the beginning of the year.

He said the chamber had also acquired a new bookkeeper and that the figures were not ready in time for the meeting. He said the figures would be ready for review at the next meeting in March.

The 2015/16 committee members are:

• Percy Mongalo.

• Ashley Rasebotsa.

• Mashupe Phala.

• Jon White.

• Mosa Holomo.

• Leonard Mashao.

• Moipone Segooa.
