Miss Limpopo creates brighter future for youth

“I wanted to kick off my charity projects this year by living up to my platform of education. I believe that everyone, no matter what race, age, gender or background has a right to basic and higher education,” Miss Limpopo 2016, Ntsetselelo Mkansi recently stated.
Mkansi decided to join hands with a local entertainment company and approached Boston City Campus College to sponsor bursaries for two young adults to pursue their dreams.
Mkansi explained that Boston City Campus College has been voted the best college for seven years in a row and that she was astounded when they agreed to help her with her project. “They sponsored bursaries worth R30 000 which allowed me to help two young adults. In order to choose the recipients I hosted a competition where people from all over Limpopo had to write a letter stating why they feel they deserve the bursary. They also had to attach their matric certificate,” Mkansi explained. Boston City Campus College assisted her in choosing the most deserving entrants. Ajesta Jan Baloyi and Mosca Khoza, both from villages in Tzaneen, were awarded the bursaries.
Mkansi explained that Baloyi would be studying data capturing while Khoza will study Tourism.
“I would love to thank Boston City Campus College for the chance they gave the students. They are opening doors for a lot of less fortunate people to further their dreams. I couldn’t have done this without their support. This is the start of many other projects,” Mkansi said.
