Vodacom gives back to subscribers

Vodacom gave away bursaries of R30 000 each to two lucky subscribers at their offices in the city recently.

POLOKWANE – This giveaway forms part of their nationwide Summer Promotion campaign which started in December and the bursaries will be utilised for educational purposes.

Dikeledi Ragophala and Phetla Mamokabane were the recipients of the bursaries. Ragophala is an educator who hails from Ga-Dikgale and she said she plans to use the bursary to help her daughter reach her dreams.

“I will dedicate this money to my daughter, Itumeleng, who will be completing her matric this year. She plans to study agricultural management and this money will be used so she can further her education. I feel happy and thankful to be the winner of this bursary,” Ragophala said.

“I’m so excited that I won. I will use the money to further my studies as I was doing Bcom accounting at UNISA. I will also give some of the money to my sister who wants to study nursing. I want to thank Vodacom for this wonderful opportunity,” Mamokabane gushed.

Executive Head of Division for the Consumer Business Unit at Vodacom, Qiniso Nyathi, said: “We wanted to give back to the community and help them on their educational journey as these bursaries cover all levels of education.”
