The Tucson’s European origins are evident in its aggressive, stable stance. The prominent hexagonal-shaped grille, stylishly efficient LED headlights LED daytime running lights are presented below a sculpted hood. Even the rear features exterior details and lighting that enhances its design and visibility. A combination of LED tail lights and available twin, bevel-cut chrome exhaust tips plus a standard rear spoiler is sure to leave an impression when driving away. Front solar glass keeps the glaring sun at bay while the rear privacy glass keeps wandering eyes from intruding. Side mirrors are heated and fitted with turn-signal indicators. Also available is a funky feature for shopaholics. When the vehicle senses the key is behind the vehicle within three feet for more than three seconds, the tailgate automatically opens resulting in no need to put down shopping bags and struggling to find the key.
The interior is fashionably designed and one will be amazed by the premium materials and features on display. On the comfortable side the driver seat can be adjusted six ways with an available power eight-way seat. Space and comfort is not limited to front occupants only as the Tucson has more rear legroom that its major competitors. The rear 60/40 split seats can fold away to create a 61,9 cubic foot of space. Some of the controls are at your fingertips with the multifunctional steering wheel. Ease, precision and accessibility start with steering-wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls. Well-lit gauges and a dash designed at the perfect angle for better visibility further enhance the driving experience. An intelligent multifunction trip computer keeps you updated about your average speed, fuel consumption and even how many kilometres to empty.

The new Hyundai Tucson’s interior offers luxury, style, comfort and safety.

The Tucson is available in two engine derivatives, a 2.0 litre petrol and 1,6 litre turbocharged petrol. Diesel models will be available soon. Both engines were designed to give you the optimal balance between horsepower and fuel consumption.
The engines are coupled with a choice of a standard 6-speed automatic gearbox which delivers smooth power and efficient highway cruising or the class-exclusive 7-speed EcoShift Dual Clutch Transmission which offers a direct connection that provides a balance of fuel economy and performance.
Hyundai also raised the bar when it comes to safety features. Assuring save lane changing the Tucson offers Blind Sport Detection, Rear Cross-traffic Alert and Lane Change Assist. An optional feature on the Tucson is the helpful Automatic Emergency Breaking with Pedestrian Detection which includes a camera and radar sensor to scan for vehicles and pedestrians and if a collision in imminent and the driver does not react, the system automatically applies brakes.
The Hyundai Tucson price range starts at R359 900 with a 7 years/200 000 km warranty. For more information or to book a test drive contact Hyundai Polokwane on 015 292 9300.
