Dr Lubout bids farewell
After 21 years, Dr Lubout leaves Secunda for Groot-Brakrivier.

SECUNDA – General practitioner Dr Anne Lubout is leaving town after 21 years.
She will be moving to Groot-Brakrivier near George at the end of January, where she will be continuing her general practice with a business partner.
“I will be a closer to my children Simone Engelbrecht (21) and Anton Engelbrecht (19), who are both currently studying medicine in Stellenbosh.”
After many years of delivering babies, Dr Lubout will be having a few more extra hours in her schedule to take some much needed time to enjoy her hobbies such as cycling, canoeing and running.
“I have worked very hard and love what I do and it will be sad to leave, but I am looking forward to beginning this new venture.”
Dr Lubout lost her husband, Reverend Anton Engelbrech, in a motor cycle accident three years ago and has had a strong community support base.
“I would like to take this opportunity to say goodbye and to thank all my patients, colleagues and friends who have supported me through the years,” Dr Lubout said.
