Robbers flee with cell phones
Robbers cause trauma at cell phone shop in Secunda Mall.

SECUNDA – Eight armed men had entered and robbed the MTN cell phone shop in the Secunda Mall on Sunday, 16 February.
The robbery happened at about 10am when four of the men threatened MTN employees and demanded cell phones.
According to the spokesman for the Secunda Police Station, W/O Thulani Gamede, the men forced one of the employees to open the safe where the cell phones were kept and then put the phones in a big bag.
They stole 36 cell phones to the value of R174 887 and R4 000.
According to an eyewitness, the men ran out of the shop after the robbery and got into a vehicle that waited for them outside the mall.
Nobody was injured and the police are investigating the case.
