Sasol helps Govan Mbeki
Sasol Mining completes repairs to water reservoir supplies in Kinross.

SECUNDA – Sasol Mining invested 17,8-million as part of its Social and Labour Plans (SLP) an interacts on an ongoing basis with the communities and their other stakeholders, including landowners, in the areas in which they operate.
A number of community infrastructure LED projects are being constructed in various towns of the Dipaleseng and Govan Mbeki local municipalities as part of the Sasol Mining SLP programme.
The LED projects currently being implemented, include a fully equipped and functional fire station in Leandra, the upgrading of a sewer pipeline in eMbalenhle Extension 26 and the paving of roads in Nthoroane Extension near Greylingstad in the Dipaleseng Municipality.
Recently, Sasol Mining provided two 10 ton suction trucks for the removal of sewage in the town of Charl Cilliers.
In addition, Sasol Mining completed the repairs to a 5-million liter water reservoir which supplies Kinross Extension 25 with water.
Going forward, the second phase of the Leandra storm water drainage system project will also be implemented in the Govan Mbeki Municipality this year.
