Tagged in Northside

From childlike murals with butterflies and peace signs, the Northside seems to have its own elusive artists giving our suburbs some colour – albeit somewhat illegally.

We can report that, after scouring the Northside for incidents of graffiti and tagging, we were pleasantly surprised to find we had considerably less than our Randburg counterpart.

Who are these artists who beg no recognition of their work (or take no responsibility for their supposed vandalism)? Perhaps we’ll never know, as these artists prefer their anonymity, yet revel in it when their work is admired or scrutinised.
