Silverstar – a destination the West-Rand can be proud of.

With the completed multi-million developmental upgrade at Silverstar, Director of Operations and Complex General Manager Shane Collinson said they will surely be the best entertainment destination on the West Rand. “With each visit, we want our patrons to be entertained and create better experiences because we have so much to offer,” explained Collinson.

His passion and love for Silverstar’s new look is evident as he describes how it caters for the whole family. “The village square provides an exceptional outdoor experience which creates a sense of energy and activity around and between the restaurants.”

While they have all these new spectacular offerings, Collinson said the safety of those visiting them is one of their top priorities. “We have key strategies that we put in place to ensure that our patrons will be safe,” explained Collinson who said they also took into account the fact that they will be having children visiting.

“Previously we just had a casino and two restaurants which didn’t really cater for the younger market. “With the the addition of the cinema complex and children’s entertainment area with the latest arcade, we are surely going to have a lot of children, and safety is what we guarantee parents.”

He mentioned that their proven proper safety measures they had for the past seven years gave them leverage and it was something they can just work on top of. He further added that their geographical location was also a bonus as it was conducive to safety.

Collinson highlighted that the new additional facilities they have were strategically selected to fit into the entertainment needs of the West-Rand people. “These businesses were hand-picked based on their proven brand successes elsewhere.”

Ahead of the official launch of the new Silverstar, Collinson said they invite the public to first-hand experience their new facilities. “I want West-Rand residents to be proud of Silverstar, let them come and enjoy what we have to offer.”

He added that feedback from patrons is important to them. “We believe in our brand and are very open to constructive criticism,” concluded Collinson.
