Two injured in three-way accident

The two men who were injured were in the bakkie.

Two men were injured this morning when a vehicle, bakkie and taxi collided in South Road.

According to eyewitnesses, the bakkie was trying to turn left on Vermooten Road when the driver changed it’s mind.

When the bakkie swerved back into the lane, it crashed into a taxi then the momentum propelled the bakkie to hit a vehicle which was on the oncoming lane.

Various private services were on the scene to treat the patients and transported them to hospital.
