UPDATE: Major accident on Beyers Naudé Drive and Christian de Wet Road

One of our reaction officers was involved in a motor vehicle accident this morning and has passed away.
Our condolences go out to his family. May your soul rest in peace.
We will release more information once the investigation has been completed by JMPD.”
An accident took place on the corner of Beyers Naudé Drive and Christian de Wet Road in Honeydew at around 9am this morning.
Three cars were involved in the accident, one of them being from Londoloza Protection Group. Paramedics cannot comment at this stage as they are still in the process of removing an injured man from one of the cars involved in the accident.
Emer-G-Med, JMPD and the Joburg Fire Department are on-site. “We cannot comment or give details at this point,” said Emer-G-Med spokesperson Max Cohen.
