Horizon Heritage Market a resounding success

Residents flocked to the Horizon Heritage Market.

Horizon Shopping Centre hosted a Heritage Day Craft Market on September 24.

According to centre manager Holly Nemathithi, the market, in addition to presenting a fun family outing to residents, provides the opportunity for local small business owners to reach their communities.

“South Africans are hardy people who possess a unique ingenuity to create an income for themselves. We would like to celebrate those people who don’t sit on their hands and do nothing. They use their skills and are determined to shape their futures, and we think that is admirable.”

Holly expressed pride in the growth of the markets that the centre hosts from time to time.
