Spreading the words on Mandela Day

Honouring Nelson Mandela's love of children and acting upon their passion of learning, Dialogue Communications Training spent 67 minutes distributing dictionaries to underprivileged people.

CRAIGPARK – Honouring Nelson Mandela’s love of children and acting upon their passion of learning, Dialogue Communications Training spent 67 minutes distributing dictionaries to underprivileged people.

The company’s Kate Englesman visited Alice’s Soup Kitchen in Graceland Village, Elsburg, where Alice Kambule works daily to make a difference by providing food and safety to children.

Soup kitchen custodian Tracy Atkinson hosted a party for the 60 children who visit the soup kitchen on Mandela Day, while the company contributed to mental nourishment by donating dictionaries.

“We’re passionate about empowerment in learning and development, in celebrating diversity, and in cherishing individuals,” said Englesman.

“We want to see South Africa’s children living up to the gift of Mandela’s legacy by knowing and owning their own power, and understanding that each one has something amazing to contribute.”
