The energy was palpable, with Parktown launching a relentless attack, weaving through CBC’s defence like clockwork. Crisp passes and pinpoint accuracy saw them race ahead, while their defence was a fortress, leaving CBC scrambling for every point. The visitors fought hard, but Parktown’s relentless pace and precision left them breathless and behind.
CBC captain Ndumiso Zimu remained gracious in defeat, reflecting on what could have been. “We fought well on our side, but next time, we need to push harder, be more creative, and aggressive. We didn’t get some calls, but ultimately, we missed our chances when they came.”
