Flower Foundation provides you with a way of life that not only makes excellent financial sense, but will provide you or your loved ones with safe and secure accommodation to be enjoyed for life. Naturally, when you are considering your next step in life, you want to be sure that you are making a sound long-term financial decision and have certainty around entering into a lifelong partnership with an organisation that has a solid track record in retirement living. Flower Foundation has nine villages spread across Johannesburg, each with its unique features, leisure and lifestyle options to choose from. This is provided alongside professional healthcare and well-maintained villages suited to the care and social needs of the residents. A time may come when extra care is needed, and Flower Foundation can provide that too, giving you peace of mind for the long term. Experience an independent lifestyle in a beautiful and secure environment where your external property and gardens are maintained for you, giving you the freedom to enjoy yourself and do what you love. These villages offer independent living to active residents; assisted living to residents who need some assistance; and full care for those who need 24-hour nursing care. They also provide specialised dementia care for those with Alzheimer’s and related forms of dementia. Flower Foundation encourages all their residents to enjoy a social and active lifestyle. Social activities are arranged daily within the villages to generate social interaction among all the residents. They endeavour to ensure the best care for their residents, giving the families and their loved ones peace of mind. Enjoy living among a community in harmony, where you are free to enjoy the activities and facilities available to you, or simply enjoy your home and independence with a Flower Foundation home.

Beware of con artists

Be suspicious of anyone who tries to rush you into signing any kind of contractual agreement. Tell them that you want some time to read through the paperwork. Go through it very carefully or ask the assistance of a trusted family member, friend or adviser. Never give your personal details – including your credit card, identity or banking information – to anyone who randomly calls and asks for them. If you want reassurance, ask them for their details and verify those for yourself. Call them only once you are happy that the initial request was legitimate.
