Art Night Out with a tree lighting to boot
Hyde Park Corner is thrilled to announce its annual Christmas tree lighting , marking the official start of the holiday season.
This year’s event promises to be an unforgettable evening of art, music, and festive cheer, featuring a star-studded lineup of celebrity guests, including Enhle Mbali.
On Thursday 7 November 6pm, the centre court of Hyde Park Corner will be abuzz with the holiday spirit complete with a majestic Christmas tree which will be officially lit with twinkling lights by none other than iconic Jazz musician Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse and celebrated actress and designer, Enhle Mbali.
The evening’s activities will include a performance by Mzansi ballet with scenes from the Nutcracker. Hyde Park Corner patrons will be treated to an array of complimentary Christmas treats and bubbly, making for a truly magical night out.

The new white-cube gallery space will house an exceptional collection of contemporary artworks, meticulously selected to create a truly unforgettable experience, a haven designed to captivate, inspire, innovate and will feature an exciting lineup of talented contemporary artists and exhibitions, starting with its spring group show, ‘Brave New World comprising of Marc Standing, Kpe Innocent, Gabrielle Raaff, Matthew Prins, Xanthe Scout Lardner-Burke, Mookho Ntho and more.
Each piece promises to be a mesmerising exploration of contemporary expression.
